No lock-in

Your records are yours.

A company has to keep its accounting records for six years. Whoever you trust with them, you should be able to take them back.

Export, whenever you like

Your ledger, contacts, invoices and filings export in full, in formats another system can read. No request, no notice period, no retention while an account winds down.

The platform is open source

The accounting side of Stewardry is published under the GNU Affero General Public Licence, and the source is public. Most customers will never need this, and it is not something you have to understand to use the product. It matters for two reasons: you are not taking our word for how your figures are calculated, and the software does not stop existing if we do.

Stewardry is a fork of Bigcapital, maintained by eHull Labs and not affiliated with or endorsed by that project. The corporation tax filing service is our own, and is not open source.

Your data stays in the UK

Stewardry runs on infrastructure in the United Kingdom. Your ledger is not sold, not shared, and not used to train anything.
